Phulbani: In a tragic incident, a woman and her five-year-old daughter in the Tridebnagar area under Town Police Station limits of Phulbani after a wall of their kutcha house caved in today under the impact of incessant rain, reports said.
On receiving a rescue call at 4.10 PM today Phulbani Fire Service staff rushed to the spot and found that the side wall of the house had collapsed. A couple along with two children were lying under the collapsed wall.
The Fire Service team rescued all four members and shifted them to the district headquarters hospital.
The woman’s husband and their son have been also seriously injured in the incident.
They have been admitted to the district headquarters hospital here. They are stated to be safe, reports added.
