Woman Consumes Poison With Minor Son In Mayurbhanj, Hospitalised

Baripada: A woman and her four-year-old son have been admitted to the Sub Divisional Hospital, Udala in Mayurbhanj district in critical condition.

According to reports, the woman identified as Sabita Rout wife of one Alok Baghda of Nabara Colony under Udala police limits in Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday allegedly consumed poison after making her four-year-old son drink poison. As the minor boy started vomiting, the mother-son duo was rushed to the Sub Divisional Hospital at Udala in a critical condition.

The woman and her minor son are battling for their lives at the hospital.

The reason behind the woman taking the extreme step is not known yet.
