Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a woman succumbed to her injuries on Monday after being attacked by a bull in the Bermuda area under the Mancheswar police station in Bhubaneswar.
As per reports, the woman was attacked by the bull on Sunday and had sustained severe injuries. She was rushed to the hospital, where she later died while undergoing treatment on Monday morning.
It is alleged that despite demanding permanent solutions to the bull menace in the locality for a long time, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has not taken a call.
Following the death of woman, local residents took to the streets, blocking roads and staging a sit-in, demanding permanent solutions to the problem. They have also sought compensation for the victim’s family.
It is pertinent to mention that five people were injured in a bull attack last week.
