Bhubaneswar: A woman died after falling from the fourth floor of a building in Tarinigada area of Paradip late Sunday night under mysterious circumstances. It remains unclear whether the fall was accidental or a case of suicide.

The woman’s identity remains unknown. Her body was found lying face down without clothes. Surprisingly, her dress caught hanging in a pipe line midway down the building. Besides, her personal belongings, including slippers, a mosquito coil and cigarette were found scattered on the roof.

Upon being informed, Paradip Adarsh police have reached the scene, seized the body, and sent it for post-mortem.

It is learnt that nine young men are staying as tenants on the upper floor of the building. However, the house owner claims the deceased woman wasn’t a resident, saying her presence there a mystery.

Police, meanwhile, seized CCTV and hard disk from the site and detained seven tenants for interrogation.
