Balasore: A woman was found hanging in her rented house at Gopalpur village under Town police station limits in Balasore district late on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as a lab technician working at Balasore District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) and a native of Kakatpur in Puri district.
According to reports, the woman had married just three months ago. Her body was recovered from the rented house and taken to Balasore DHH, where doctors declared her brought dead.
On being informed, Balasore Town police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, her colleagues expressed shock over the incident, recalling her as a sincere and punctual employee. The exact reason behind her death will be ascertained after investigation, police said.
