Udala (Mayurbhanj): In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants hacked a woman to death at Junapal village square under Kaptipada police limits in Mayurbhanj district today.
According to reports, the deceased identified as Padmini Pradhan of Kantagadi village after finishing work here had gone to Junapal village by bus to visit a relative.
After alighting from the bus at Junapal village square Padmini was attacked and hacked by unidentified miscreants with a sharp weapon.
While she was lying in a critical condition on the road, locals after rescuing her got her admitted to the Sub Divisional Hospital here.
However, she was declared dead by the doctors at the hospital.
