Woman Sustains Severe Burns While Warming Up In Keonjhar, Rushed To SCB Hospital

Bhubaneswar: A woman suffered severe burns after her saree caught fire at her home in Karagola village under Nandapada police station in Keonjhar district.

According to reports, Rajshree (35), wife of Chandramani Pati, was warming herself near an earthen stove due to the cold weather on Saturday morning when her saree caught fire, engulfing her in flames.

The flames spread quickly, causing severe burns on her body. The family members rushed her to Anandapur Hospital. However, Rajshree was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for further treatment as her condition deteriorated.
