Yellow Alert Issued: Thunderstorms And Gusty Winds Expected In 8 Districts In Next 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, has issued a yellow nowcast warning for several districts, forecasting light to moderate rain or thunderstorm, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 KMPH) in nest three hours.

As per IMD’s nowcast warning 1pm, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangapur, Malkangiri, and Nuapada districts over the next three hours.

Residents are advised to keep a watch on the weather and be prepared to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
