Bhubaneswar: The IMD on Sunday issued a yellow warning predicting dense fog for 10 districts of Odisha. According to the IMD, over the next two days, dense fog is very likely to prevail over Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Angul and Dhenkanal.
Similarly, the Met department has issued a yellow warning with a forecast of cold wave for Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Sonepur, Bolangir, and Kalahandi over the next 24 hours.
Dry weather is very likely to prevail across the State with light to moderate showers expected over Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh and a few districts of Southern Odisha during February 9 to 11, the IMD stated.
“No large change in minimum temperature (Night Temperature) during next 2 days and gradually rise by 3 degrees to 5 degrees Celsius, thereafter over the districts of Odisha. Bhubaneswar will experience a clear sky with Maximum and Minimum temperature to be around 27°C and 13°C respectively,” the IMD bulletin read.
