Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued a yellow warning for isolated light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in seven Odisha districts during the next three hours.
According to the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, the weather conditions are likely to affect Koraput, Malkangiri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Dhenkanal, Kataka and Anugola districts.
The warning was issued at 4.55 pm on September 28, with the weather office advising people to remain alert for any deterioration in conditions and plan outdoor activities accordingly.
The IMD urged residents in the warned areas to keep a watch on the latest weather developments and take necessary precautions for their safety.
