Bhubaneswar: A day ahead of the T20 match between India and South Africa at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, DCP Pinak Mishra asked the public for their support and listed the items spectators are not allowed to carry into the stadium.
Any object that can be used as projectiles such as water bottles, lighters, matchboxes, and helmets will not be allowed into the stadium. The drinking water facility has been set up by the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA).
Mishra urged all not to bring coins, knives, and any other items, as they can only take mobile phones and eyeglasses inside the stadium. Food packets are also not allowed into the stadium. Food will be available at stalls organized by the OCA.
Face masks will be compulsory for spectators. ‘No Mask No Entry’ has been clearly mentioned in the tickets. As few cases of Covid-19 are still being detected, preventing its spread should be a collective responsibility, he added.
