Young Girl Dies Of Electrocution In Bolangir

Bhubaneswar: A young girl died after coming in contact with live wires at Singapali village under Muribahal police limits in Bolangir district, on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Nikita Suna.

According to sources, Nikita’s parents had gone to a neighbouring state to work as bonded workers. Nikita was residing at her uncle’s house. Nikita was cooking inside the kitchen when she touched electric wires in wet hands.

Nikita’s uncle rushed her to a nearby hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.

Police have registered an unnatural death case in this connection.
