Koraput: The body of the young woman was spotted hanging from a tree outside the Nua Ghasarda village under Bipariguda police limits in Odisha’s Koraput district on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Gouri Majhi.
According to reports, local villages spotted the body and informed the police about the incident. The police recovered the body and sent it for postmortem. They have also initiated a probe to ascertain whether the woman committed suicide or was murdered.
Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased have alleged that the woman was murdered and lodged a complaint with the police.
