Puri: The body of a young woman was found mutilated on the train track near Puri railway station. The body was discovered with severe injuries, including cut legs and multiple parts of the body dismembered.
The deceased has been identified as Khushi Rout, a first-year student of Puri Government Women’s College,
The GRP police were informed about the incident by local residents, who reported the gruesome discovery. Upon arrival, the police recovered the body along with a college ID card and mobile phone, which helped identify the victim. Khushi Rout was reportedly a resident of Bata Gaon under Puri Sadar Police Station.
The police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of death. The body has been sent for autopsy to gather more information. The GRP are investigating the case from multiple angles and are yet to determine the circumstances surrounding the young woman’s death.
