Bhubaneswar: A youth was arrested for uploading a video on Instagram that sparked fear and outrage among the public. Sushant Mahakud, a resident of Bada Dumbula village under Digpahandi police station in Ganjam district, was taken into custody for brandishing a sword and uttering threatening dialogue in the video.
In the video, Sushant was seen claiming that he would visit the Digpahandi police station with a sword and three heads, asking his viewers to like and comment on his post. The video went viral, prompting the police to take swift action.
The police tracked down Sushant to his village and arrested him. He was subsequently produced in court. The authorities are likely to investigate the motive behind the video and determine the appropriate course of action
