Koraput: Jeypore Sadar police in Koraput district have arrested a youth in connection with the suicide of a minor girl.
The accused identified as Bikash Tandi of Kebidi village under Borigumma police limits has been arrested and forwarded to court.
According to the police, a minor girl from Jeypore Sadar police limits had allegedly attempted to commit suicide. She was admitted to the district headquarters hospital at Jeypore on June 23 in a critical condition. However, she died on June 25 while undergoing treatment.
Police upon registering a case in this connection arrested the accused and forwarded him to court on Wednesday.
