Bhubaneswar: A youth was brutally murdered on the Bahadapalli village road near Rambha railway station in Ganjam district on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Abhi Pradhan.
According to reports, the victim was on his way to his village on a motorcycle when he was intercepted and attacked with sharp weapons by a group of unidentified miscreants. The assailants allegedly targeted him over past enmity.
On receiving information, Rambha police reached the spot, seized the body, and initiated an investigation. The body was sent for post-mortem to ascertain the exact cause of death.
Further investigation is underway.
