Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a young man lost his life after falling from the roof of his house while plucking flowers for puja at Nilagiri in Baleshwar district.
The deceased has been identified as Aditya Jena, son of Papu Jena, a resident of Ghatagharasahi under NAC Ward No. 2 in Nilagiri.
According to information, Aditya had climbed onto the roof to pluck flowers for worship when he accidentally slipped and fell to the ground. Family members immediately rushed him to Nilagiri hospital for treatment. However, doctors there declared him dead on arrival.
The sudden and untimely death of the youth has cast a deep shadow of grief over the family. A sombre atmosphere has also prevailed in Ghatgharasahi following the unfortunate incident.
