Sundargarh: A youth died due to electrocution at Bhatipada village under Balisankara block of Talasara police station in Sundargarh district on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Sangam Ekka.
According to reports, the youth was attempting to clean rainwater that had accumulated on the roof of his house when the accident took place.
While clearing the water, Ekka came into contact with an 11 KV high-voltage electricity wire passing overhead, resulting in his fatal electrocution.
On being informed, Talasara police reached the spot and initiated an investigation.
