Cuttack: A youth sustained injuries after being hit by Cuttack Municipal Corporation Mayor Subash Singh’s car on Wednesday night.
According to sources, the accident took place when the Mayor’s car hit the scooter coming from the opposite direction. As the scooter driver was bleeding profusely, Singh admitted him to a nearby hospital in an auto-rickshaw.
He was discharged after undergoing primary treatment. The condition of the youth is stated to be stable, sources said.
However, the scooty got damaged in the mishap.
