Youth Stabbed To Death By Friend Over Minor Dispute In Nayagarh

Bhubaneswar: A gruesome murder took place in Pandarasingha village under Gania police station in Nayagarh district on Raja Festival. Jeetu Pradhan, a young man from the village, was stabbed to death by his friend Sania Rout over a minor dispute.

According to reports, the altercation between the two turned violent, and Sania attacked Jeetu with a sharp knife, stabbing him in the chest. The villagers rushed Jeetu to the nearby Gania Hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.

The Gania police have seized Jeetu’s body and launched an investigation into the incident. The accused, Sania Rout, is currently absconding, and the police are working to apprehend him soon.

The murder has sent shockwaves in the local area, especially since it occurred on a festive day like Raja. The police have assured that the accused will be arrested and brought to justice. Gania police station officer Laxman Dandasena confirmed that efforts are underway to track down Sania Rout and take him into custody.
