Bhubaneswar: A youth went missing after being swept away in Devi river near Macchagan in Jagatsinghpur district.
According to reports, locals on spotting a youth being swept away by the current in the Devi river informed the Fire Service.
On being informed Fire Service personnel reached the spot and launched a massive search operation rescue in the river which is now in spate.
The identity of the missing youth has not been established.
