Bhubaneswar: Banki police recovered the body of a youth lying in a pool of blood from a clubhouse at Harirajpur under Banki police limits on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Sital Sahu of the same village.
According to sources, villagers found the blood-stained sword lying outside the clubhouse and informed police. Police broke open the doors and recovered Sital’s body.
Meanwhile, the deceased’s family alleged that he was lynched to death.
Police seized swords, a mobile phone and slippers from the crime spot. Police also sent the body for post-mortem.
Police, meanwhile, started an investigation to ascertain the reason behind the brutal killing.
