Youth’s Body Found In Gajapati; Family Alleges Foul Play

Bhubaneswar: A decomposed body of a youth was found in a rented house near Nataraj Hall in Paralakhemundi of Gajapati district, on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as M. Jagdish, a resident of Machhakhunti village near Gunupur in Rayagada district.

According to reports, Jagdish’s body was lying in a pool of dried blood inside the house.

Upon receiving the information, police from Paralakhemundi Model Police Station reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

Meanwhile, Jagdish’s family has lodged a police complaint, alleging that he was murdered. They also reported that his wife is missing.

Police are searching for Jagdish’s wife, while a scientific team has begun an investigation into the incident.
