Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, a young YouTuber was stabbed to death by three assailants at GGP Colony in Rasulgarh on Saturday night. The accused have been arrested by the police based on CCTV footage.
According to reports, victim Rahul Maharana was sitting with a friend in the school ground premises when the three youths arrived on a bike and stabbed him. He was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
DCP Jagmohan Meena confirmed the arrests and said the knife used in the murder has been seized. The police suspect a financial dispute behind the killing, though the exact motive is unclear.
Rahul, who had married recently, was known in his community for his YouTube content. The incident has sent shockwaves in the city, with locals demanding justice for the victim. The police are investigating the case further.
