Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police on Wednesday arrested Youtuber Tapi Mishra, alias Saroj Kumar Mishra, for allegedly abusing a woman author on social media.
The arrest was made by Infocity Police under Bhubaneswar UPD based on a complaint filed by Odia writer Banasmita Pati. Mishra has been charged under sections 296, 75 (3), 351 (2), and 351 (4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The case highlights the growing concern over online harassment and the authorities’ efforts to address such incidents. Further investigations are underway.
