Bhubaneswar: Congress legislature party leader Ramachandra Kadam has written to Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy, seeking her intervention in the theft of his valuables from the assembly premises. The stolen items include a gold chain, an expensive watch, and a pair of pants.
According to the letter, the theft occurred on March 26 at around 2:30 am. Despite lodging a complaint, Kadam’s belongings have not been returned, and it is unclear what action has been taken so far.
The Congress party has urged the Speaker to take necessary steps to recover the stolen valuables. The letter demands that the Speaker intervene in the matter and ensure the return of Kadam’s belongings.
