Bhubaneswar: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has decided to allow entry of devotees into the Shree Gundicha temple from the Rath Yatra 2024.
SJTA chief administrator Ranjan Das told the media that the Shree Gundicha Temple’s developmental work will begin soon and it is likely to take five to six months to complete. The transformational work at the temple includes the temple kitchen, the place where vegetables are cut, the prasad center, and the path on which deities are taken in pahandi.
Das further said that the development of a park and a hall is under construction at the temple site. The park will host religious activities throughout the year. Describing the beautification of the temple as the ‘Nabakalebara of Shree Gundicha Temple,’ he said that the entire work is expected to be completed before the Rath Yatra 2024.
