Bhubaneswar: The proposed multi-storied apartment for members of the Odisha Assembly will be ready in 2.5 years, said Speaker Surya Narayan Patro on Monday.
Patro said that the tender process has been over for the project. The last date of filing the tender form is March 30. The work order will be given 15 days after the tender filing.
Some MLAs are yet to vacate the quarters in Unit-IV area of the Capital City for the proposed multi-storied apartment building. They have been asked to vacate the same within March 18 to 25.
The demolition will start after the quarters are vacated. The multi-storied apartment structure is to accommodate 130 MLAs and many other people including IAS officers.
