Sonepur: Around 12 children had a narrow escape after a school van caught fire near College square in Binika of Sonepur district.
The school van was on its way from Sindol to a private school at Binika when it caught fire. The driver stopped the vehicle on time and evacuated the students with help of locals.
On being informed, the fire brigade reached the spot and the situation was brought under control. The exact reason for the mishap is yet to be ascertained.
