Athgarh: In order to encourage students of government schools to excel in the High School Certificate (HSC) examination, the Super-30 programme was launched in two 5T transformed schools- Biswa Nath Bidyapith and Government Girls’ High School of Athgarh Sub Division of Cuttack district.
The Super-30 programme was launched by Athgarh MLA and Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain here today.
A total of 30 students of the aforementioned schools who are achievers have been selected for the programme.
“This is a novel initiative by our Collector. B N Bidyapith is the oldest school in our sub-division. It is a premier institute of our Assembly constituency which had 100 per cent results in the last two years. To maintain that momentum Super-30 will be a path-breaking scheme, the benefit of which will be availed by the meritorious students staying in our villages,” said Swain.
Swain informed that BN Bidyapith is the alma mater of Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani.
“It is here he got the best tenth position in matriculation. It is here he scaled new heights. It is the best initiative. We will provide the best of logistical support to him,” Swain stated.
Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani informed that the Super-30 programme launched at B N Bidyapith is an attempt to create a model of excellence.
“Under the 5T transformation initiative of our Chief Minister we have developed very high-quality infrastructure. In addition to that for qualitative improvement of education, there is a need to inculcate competitive spirit among the students. For that we are conducting an experiment to provide quality education to 30 boys and girls who are high achievers so that they all score A+,” said Chayani sharing details of the programme.
