Bhubaneswar: A Vigilance Court on Tuesday convicted a retired Superintending Enginner in a corruption case which relates to illegal appointment of Junior Clerk and Amin.
According to the State Vigilance, Purna Chandra Dash, Ex-Superintending Engineer (Retd), of Rayagada Irrigation Circle, Padagaon, Gajapati, was convicted by the court and sentenced to 2 years jail.
Dash was chargesheeted by Odisha Vigilance in this case. The conviction and sentence was announced by Berhampur Special Judge in this case today.
