Nabarangpur: Three people were killed after the car they were travelling by rammed against a tree at Basini Chhak on Umerkote-Jharigaon main road in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district On Friday.
The deceased have been identified as Suresh Mandal, Satya Ranjan Bepari, and Gaurang Rai. Another woman sustained critical injuries and has been admitted to the Koraput District Headquarters Hospital.
According to reports, the accident occurred when the victims were returning from Jagdalpur after attending a marriage function. On the way, the driver lost control of the wheel and the vehicle crashed against a roadside tree.
