Over 10 Injured As Bus Plunges Into Field In Mayurbhanj

Mayurbhanj: At least 10 passengers of a private bus sustained varying degrees of injury when the vehicle plunged off the National Highway No 18 near Ragdha Street under Betanti police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Wednesday morning and crashed against a nearby fencing after the driver lost control over the wheels.

All the injured have been admitted to nearby Krishnachandrapur Group Health Center.

More than 30 passengers were travelling by the ill-fated bus which was going from Jaleswar to Baripada.

On being informed, local police reached the spot, rescued the injured along with the locals, and initiated a probe into the accident.
