Keonjhar: A biker and two pillion riders were on Friday killed in a head-on collision between their bike and an iron ore laden dumper on the road in front of Kanakmanjari Women’s College at Salapada under Ghasipura police limits in Keonjhar district.
The deceased have been identified as Prabhudutt Biswal, Bibhudutt Biswal and the young woman was their neighbour.
They all hailed from Baragadia in Jajpur district. They were crushed under the wheels of the dumper.
After rescuing them Fire Service personnel rushed them to the Sub Divisional Hospital at Anandpur. However, they were all declared dead by the doctors at the hospital.
On being informed, Ghasipura police rushed to the spot and have launched an investigation into the matter. Police have seized the accident causing dumper.
