Bhubaneswar: In a strategic move, the Odisha government on Wednesday effected a major reshuffle in the IAS cadre by shifting IAS officers from their respective positions.
According to a notification issued by the government, Ashish Thakare who is the Collector of Mayurbhanj district has been appointed as Balasore Collector.
Similarly, Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde, the present Collector of Balasore, has been appointed as the Collector of Mayurbhanj.
The government appointed Puri Collector Bijay Kumar Dash as the Commissioner of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
Similarly, current CMC Commissioner Siddharth Shankar Swain has been posted as Puri Collector.
