Bhubaneswar: Twelve members of a marriage party were injured when a swarm of bees stung them while on their way to the bride’s home in Bhushal village under Bhuban police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Tuesday night.
According to reports, the condition of four people, including an 8-year-old, is critical. The seriously injured have been admitted to the Bhuban Community Health Centre (CHC).
A bridal procession was on its way from the Dera area in Talcher to Bhushal village under Bhuban police limits on Tuesday evening. On the way, someone from the marriage party disturbed a bee hive near Bhushal village resulting in a swarm of bees attacking the marriage party, including the bridegroom.
