Enraged Man Hacks Mother To Death In Odisha’s Deogarh

Deogarh: In a heart-wrenching incident, a woman was hacked to death by her son in Katrapalli hamlet under Reamal police station limits in Deogarh district on Monday night.

The deceased identified as one Kuntala Kishan of Katrapalli, was killed by her son due to a quarrel over some trivial matter, which is unclear.

Accused Suresh Kishan brutally murdered his mother, Kuntala on Monday late at night using a sharp hatchet.

On Tuesday morning, villagers detained Suresh and handed him over to the Reamal police.

The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

Further details on the matter are awaited.
