Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department has forecasted a continuation of light to moderate rainfall with thundershowers throughout the state for the next seven days, according to its mid-day bulletin.
Amidst the formation of low pressure over the area adjoining the Bay of Bengal, Gangetic West Bengal, and Bangladesh, the rainfall activities in the state are likely to remain intense for the next three days, as stated in the IMD report.
The weather office has reported the occurrence of light to moderate rainfall at many places over the coastal regions, and at a few places in interior Odisha today.
The highest maximum temperature of 35.0°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi, and the lowest minimum temperature of 23.0°C was recorded at Phulbani and Nabarangpur.
