Rourkela: Tangarpali police retrieved the body of a Rourkela Steel Plant employee from the side of a train line in factory area. The deceased has been identified as Basudev Pradhan (50), a resident of Sector 4D Block in Rourkela.
The deceased was working as a Master Technician in the RSP Heavy Maintenance Electrical (HME) department. He was transferred to the HME department from the Hotstrip Mill-1 less than last month ago.
Tangarpali police seized the body and kept it in IGH mortuary. The cause of Basudev’s death is yet to be ascertained. The police have registered a case in this connection and started an investigation.
