Bhubaneswar: The Housing and Urban Development has directed Collectors of all districts except Deogarh, Gajapati, Jharsuguda, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Malkangiri and Nabarangpur to furnish required information for the constitution of new NACs.
In a letter to the Collector, Rabindra Kumar Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary asked the Collectors take immediate steps to furnish the required information to this Department so as to take follow up action as per the provisions of the Odisha Municipal Act, 1950 and the existing policy framework.
He stated that the information sought for the purpose has not yet been received by the Department. Due to non-receipt of required information no further steps have been taken in the matter, he mentioned in the letter.
