Bhubaneswar: Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey, a 1997-batch IPS, has been given Central deputation. Kutey has been appointed as Inspector General in the Border Security Force (BSF).
A letter to Odisha Chief Secretary, Sanjeev Kumar, Under Secretary to the Government of India, on December 6, wrote, “I am directed to convey approval of the competent authority for appointment of Shri Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey, IPS (OD: 1997) as Inspector General (Level-14 in the Pay Matrix) in Border Security Force (BSF) from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure up to the date of his superannuation on 29.02.2028 or until further orders whichever is earlier.”
“It is, therefore, requested that Shri Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey may be relieved immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment at the Centre,” it added.
