Bhubaneswar: Eight Odisha districts will experience light to moderate thunderstorms with lightning and gusty surface winds of 30-40 kmph in the next three hours, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
A nowcast warning has been issued for several districts in Odisha, including Koraput, Kalahandi, Nabarangapur, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Nuapada, Ganjam, and Gajapati. A light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface winds of 30-40 kmph is expected to affect these areas within the next three hours.
Residents are advised to be aware of the weather conditions and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
