3 Critical After Explosion In Book Godown In Jagatsinghpur, Books Worth Lakhs Gutted

Bhubaneswar: A devastating explosion occurred at a book warehouse near Jagatsinghpur Janata Kothi, leaving three people seriously injured and books worth lakhs of rupees reduced to ashes.

The incident took place late last night, with locals rescuing the injured and rushing them to Jagatsinghpur Hospital for primary treatment. The victims were later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for better treatment.

The blast was so powerful that it cracked the walls of the warehouse, and the cause of the explosion remains unknown. The Balikuda fire brigade promptly responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. Police are currently investigating the incident to determine its cause.
