Bhubaneswar: In a major development aimed at boosting industrial growth and energy security in Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) on Tuesday in New Delhi.
The MoU pertains to the establishment of a Mega Dual Feed Cracker and downstream units at Paradeep in Jagatsinghpur district.
In addition to this, on the second day of his visit, Majhi and his team will sign further MoUs with key stakeholders.
These include an agreement with Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited (ISPRL) for the construction of a crude oil storage facility in Chandikhol and another with Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) for the development of an LNG terminal in Gopalpur.
These agreements mark a pivotal step in strengthening the state’s industrial infrastructure and ensuring long-term energy security for Odisha.
