Under the order issued by Commissioner of Police Suresh Dev Datta Singh, heavy vehicles will not be allowed towards Master Canteen Square from Ram Mandir or Rajmahal sides. Two-wheelers and light motor vehicles from Rajmahal towards Ram Mandir via Master Canteen Square will be allowed, but turning towards PMG Square will remain prohibited.

Other key restrictions include:

  • Vehicles from 120 Bn Square will be diverted towards Unit-IV at MLA Colony crossing.
  • All lanes touching Mahatma Gandhi Marg will be sealed, allowing only pedestrian movement.

Designated parking areas during the parade hours include the BDA bus stand near the railway station, open spaces near Congress Bhawan, IDCOL Auditorium, Jaydev Bhawan, SBI Unit-III, Rabindra Mandap, and Unit-II Girls’ High School Ground.

Additionally, the sale of gas balloons will be strictly prohibited between PMG Square and Master Canteen Square on August 15 from 6 AM until the end of the function. Violations will attract a fine of ₹500 to ₹1,000 under the Odisha Urban Police Act, 2003.
