Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance has instituted another case against Kishore Kumar Sahani, Senior Assistant at City Hospital, Cuttack, under the office of CDMO, Cuttack.
Sahani has been accused of misappropriating government funds amounting to Rs. 1,24,15,854 during his tenure at City Hospital, Cuttack.
A case has been registered against him (Vigilance PS Case No. 24/21.08.2025) under Sections 13(2) r/w 13(1)(c) of the PC (Amendment) Act, 2018. He has been remanded to jail custody till September 16, 2025.
Additionally, Sahani was arrested on August 23, 2025, for possession of disproportionate assets worth 201% of his known sources of income, which he failed to explain satisfactorily. A case has been registered against him and his spouse. He has been forwarded to the Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack.
