Bhubaneswar: A partially decomposed body of an unidentified youth was recovered from a playground in the Mancheswar area of Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
According to sources, the body was found on a ground located in front of the rail coach repair unit of the East Coast Railway (ECoR). Preliminary observations suggest that the youth may have been hacked to death, as multiple deep injury marks were found on the body.
On Sunday afternoon, some local youths spotted the body and immediately informed the police about the incident.
Upon receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and launched an investigation. Efforts are underway to ascertain the identity of the deceased and determine the exact cause of death.
