Balasore: A youth was found hanging inside his room at Jharpimpal village under Simulia police station limits in Balasore district on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Rabindra Pradhan.
According to reports, Rabindra reportedly used a towel to hang himself from a ceiling fan when no one was at home.
Family members discovered him in an unconscious state on Saturday morning and immediately rushed him to the Simulia Community Health Centre (CHC), where doctors declared him brought dead. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
Upon receiving information, police reached the spot, sent the body for post-mortem, and have launched an investigation into the matter.
