Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister MohanCharan Majhi and his deputies, Pravati Parida and Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, took to their respective X handles to wish the people of Odisha a blessed Dhanteras.
The three leaders invoked Lord Dhanvantari and Goddess Lakshmi for health, wealth and prosperity, urging citizens to celebrate Dhanteras with traditional reverence and optimism for a prosperous year ahead.
CM Mohan Majhi wrote: “Heartfelt greetings and congratulations to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. May every family in the state attain happiness, peace, prosperity, and excellent health through the blessings of Lord Dhanvantari. May the grace of Goddess Lakshmi open new doors of success for our farmers, workers, women, and youth.”
Deputy CM Pravati Parida wrote: “Greetings and best wishes to you all on the auspicious occasion of Dhanvantari Jayanti and Dhanteras, a day of health and prosperity. Health is our most valuable asset. On this sacred day, I pray to Lord Dhanvantari for your good health and long life.”
Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo shared a Sanskrit shloka followed by his message: “Om Namo Bhagavate Mahasudarshanaya Vasudevaya Dhanvantaraye, Amritakalasha Hastaaya Sarva Bhayavinaashaya Sarva Roganivaaranaaya. Heartfelt wishes for the festival of Dhanteras, filled with health and prosperity. Salutations to Lord Dhanvantari, the deity of health, prosperity, medicine, and wealth.”
